Environment, Roads and Climate

In the interdisciplinary business area Environment, Road & Climate, we are proud to have provided environmental consultancy on both large and small projects for over 30 years. This started with projects such as Sundby Gasworks, Østre Gasworks and Valby Gasworks - three highly contaminated sites that we have helped to clean up sufficiently for them to be used safely. Then came Red Molen, Museum of Freedom and The National Museum of Natural Historywhere we have played key roles in the environmental field, and most recently in mapping the usable resources for ATP Properties on the Jagtvej 169 project, so that the property's building materials were recycled and resold before demolition. On the Metro Cityringen, the tasks were both to handle regulatory issues in the environmental field, but also to advise on traffic diversions and permits.

We also help our clients with road design, drainage and LAR solutions and have, among other things, been responsible for rehabilitation projects in the municipality of Copenhagen, rearrangements at DTU in relation to the Light Rail and dimensioning of drainage and pavements on Mozarts Plads at the new metro station.

Wide range of environmental services

Against the background of increasing attention to sustainable solutions and the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, we have also strengthened our competences in this area. Climate change adaptation and life cycle assessment (LCA) have also entered as an important discipline, with the preparation of accounts for construction projects and companies. We also help with DGNB certification of new buildings. Our many years in the industry have equipped us with a solid experience in environmental consultancy, spanning a range of services including soil and groundwater contamination, environmental monitoring, resource mapping, climate change mitigation services, investigations of harmful substances in construction materials (environmental remediation) in addition to site health and safety and environmental management. We send the most suitable team for each assignment. Our teams are made up of experienced and skilled technicians and AC staff, all of whom are experienced in site inspections and monitoring and have a multidisciplinary approach to the tasks.
